Jordan Elsass Not Returning to Superman & Lois

That’s right, in what appears to be a twist, Jordan Elsass will not be returning to the role of Jonathan Kent in the popular series “Superman & Lois”.

In a statement released by Warner Bros. Television, it was said that Jordan Elsass will not be returning to the role because of “personal reasons”.

The studio has decided to recast the actor to keep Jonathan Kent in the series instead of writing him out of the series.

As of now, no exact details as to why Jordan Elsass has decided to exit the series, however, it is not a result of a workplace-related issue, according to a source close to the production of the series. The deadline to arrive back in Vancouver came and the actor never returned.

Now, when the news of Jordan Elsass’s exit, many fans speculated about the reasons as to why, I get it. From reading people’s reactions to the news I can see that he was a beloved character. Many fans speculated that he didn’t like the direction the show was taking for the character, but many fans agreed that it could be to do with his mental health.

Jordan Elsass posted to his Instagram account back in June that he was checking into a mental health facility to help him. He said he is dealing with “many things, pretty much all revolving around mental health and well-being”.

If this is correct then I hope he gets the help he needs, but it will be different watching the series for the upcoming third season of Superman & Lois.
