“Kenobi” Series on Hold by Disney

Hello There.

In recent weeks unreliable sites has been spreading rumours that the Obi Wan Series has been cancelled while we put out an article that this was false… it’s not all good news as recently Collider has put an article out saying the Kenobi series has been put on hold indefinitely.

We stand by the initial article we wrote, considering the series still hasn’t been cancelled as of yet, just delayed.

When the behind the scenes crew arrived at Pinewood studios they were quickly sent home and told the delay was indefinite.

The main rumor is that Kathleen Kennedy was not happy with how the Obi Wan scripts wrote.

Sources say that the scripts will be reworked and production will restart this summer but that could change.

Ewan McGregor was recently at a Birds of Prey fan event and he told Variety “I think we start shooting early next year as opposed to summer this year,”

McGregor also stated that the delay is not as dramatic as everyone is making it out to be.

He continued, “all this bullshit about creative differences and all that stuff is, none of it true.”

“We just pushed the dates, Rise of the Skywalker just came out, everyone had more time to read the stuff that had been written, and they felt that they wanted to do more work on it. So they slid the shoot. It’s not nearly as dramatic as it sounds online.”

Rumours are also circulating that the episode number has decreased from 6 episodes to 4. We will provide an update once we have more news on the episode list.
