Legends of Tomorrow “The Ex-Factor” Review

Season 6 Episode 3 “The Legends try to stop an alien invasion by traveling to 2045 and having Zari perform in a TV talent show.”

What I Liked?

1. Finally, after god knows how long, we finally have a Nate fighting scene using his powers!! Even though it was only a couple of minutes long and he did get thrown about by a robotic alien, along with Behrad, he still used his powers which were great to finally see.

2. Mick finally steps up, tells Ava that if she was missing Sara would have found her by now, which is true. He tells Gideon to arm the ship to which the robotic alien picks up and orders his arm to aim at the Earth from space. This was probably the most that Mick has done this entire season so far.

What I Disliked?

1. This is an episode focused purely on Zari, you can tell it’s focused on her even though the main story of the season is to find Sara, however, in this episode it was purely to give Zari the spotlight on social media like she was before she joined the Legends.

2. So this big nasty world that Sara and Gary are on is full of people hunting people who land on this planet, Sara and Gary find out that the hunters are actually Ava’s clones from a couple of seasons ago. WHO IS WRITING THIS SERIES? A CHILD???

3. To defeat this robotic alien, Zari and him get into a sing-off contest with the robotic alien stealing Zari’s song. Zari goes on to sing a different song with Constantine joining in helping her. This was a dislike because I feel like Constantine wouldn’t do this at all.

Favorite Moment

Sara comes up with a plan to get rid of the hunters, Gary needs to change into his alien form and eat them, since Sara is poisoned, she can’t exactly fight so Gary finally steps up and eats people, this was definitely my favorite scene of this episode.

Standout Moment

Mick Rory gets the standout this week.

The Verdict

This episode was by far not the greatest episode of this show at all, but by far not the worst episode, I don’t think anything will beat last week’s episode. Although there wasn’t much action and the story was average, the episode did have a couple of good moments which I enjoyed.
