Season 6 Episode 11 “When the Legends track down another alien pod, they find a device that transports them to a cosmic bowling alley; Nate plans a romantic date for him and Zari, but nothing goes as planned.”
What I Liked?
1. I’m truly surprised I had any likes this week, if it wasn’t for Constantine being involved in both of my likes then I would have no likes at all but my first one comes 15 minutes into the episode and the only somewhat interesting thing I liked seeing was Constantine being “overcharged” with magic. We see him use it on Behrad’s weed cake which explodes.
2. My next point came towards the end when the owner of the bowling alley hinted at the death of Constantine. I feel like this is why they’ve recast the Matt Ryan actor as a completely new character for the series next season, he’s been confirmed to return to the next season but not as Constantine, so by that logic I believe Constantine will be killed this season.
What I Disliked?
1. After a hiatus, the series returns, I thought stuff might pick up since this is the 11th episode in the season but no, as soon as I got around 5 minutes into the episode I figured out what would happen all throughout the episode, I literally said “if the Legends have to win a game of bowling to escape and return to Earth, the story rating will drop” and guess what? It happened.
2. Many characters got the bad end of the stick this week with pointless stories and “side quest”. You had OG Zari and Nate having a date in the woods who end up being involved with some jock type character, Sara, Mick, Astra, and Spooner are having the game of bowling, Constantine is getting high on his magic, Gary and Ava go wedding dress shopping and dancing around (both in dresses), and well, Behrad was just there, literally just walking around.
3. Not only has the episode been insanely predictive and boring, but the “villain” of the episode is also a bowler who if he wins, captures you and the planet you are from as a trophy, WHAT HAS THIS SHOW COME TO?
Favorite Moment
I couldn’t give you a favorite moment, I was so bored and pretty much in pain watching this episode.
Standout Character
I would have to pick Sara for the standout character this week. She was the only one trying to motivate the team.
The Verdict
Honestly, this might have been the worst episode, the weakest episode of the entire season, and hands down the most predictive episode in TV history. The episode was boring, underwhelming, and boring. The only good thing about this episode was Constantine using his magic and his death being hinted at.
