According to reports, The Power Rangers have found a new home as a live-action TV series focusing on the team is coming to Disney+ suggest reports.
While Power Rangers has been a huge hit for Hasbro since 1994, recently the franchise has been on a bit of a hiatus since the partnership with Netflix ended back in 2023 following the Power Rangers Cosmic Fury series.
According to The Wrap, Hasbro will be bringing the rangers to Disney+ for a reboot of the franchise. While there is only a few details currently available, it has been confirmed the series will be live-action and will have Jon Steinberg and Dan Shotz as the head writers and showrunners.

Hasbro will produce the reboot along with Disney+ and 20th Century TV. It’s also unclear if this is a complete reboot or will the franchise continue the tradition of bringing back old cast members from previous incarnations of the series.
There is no current date for the Power Rangers series on Disney+ so expect to see more information come to light over the course of the next year.
My only question in regards to this is will they stick with the “corny-child” focused show or will they cater to a more adult theme?
