Season 1 Episode 3 – Loki finds out The Variant’s plans, but he has his own that will forever alter both their destinies.
What I Liked
1. Not even 5 minutes in and we’ve already had a pretty great action-filled scene as we see Lady Loki takedown TVA agents and then proceed to fight against Loki. Neither one wins of course as they both have very similar styles for fighting, but I have to appreciate the scene as Lady Loki has got some great skills!
2. I’m loving this pairing of Loki and Lady Loki. It’s like I’m watching Thor and Loki all over again with the constant banter and sly insults towards one another!
3. I’m sorry but have I just watched a drunk Loki singing and dancing? I believe I have and I am here for it! This character just never ever fails to amuse me. He has so many angles and so many personalities. Tom Hiddleston does such an amazing job at portraying such a difficult character!
4. Another fight scene except for this time we see Loki and Lady Loki fight side by side. The fight scene was quite short-lived but I enjoyed seeing the pair work together, even if Loki was stinking drunk and couldn’t aim to save his life. But here we are, they live to tell the tale and I enjoyed watching it!
5. Save my own life or nap and hope someone else does it for me??? That’s a decision I’d struggle with too, Loki is my new spirit animal.
6. The scene of the planet they are on being completely destroyed was so intense! The action was incredible, the CGI was absolutely perfect and the acting from everyone involved was so perfectly done! You can only imagine what it would be like in that situation so to portray it on camera so well was brilliant!
What I Disliked

Favourite Moment
Oh my god, Loki talking about his mother is just making my heart hurt so much! You can see in his eyes just how much he absolutely adored her. Despite the heartless front he puts on, his mother was his entire world, or as he puts it, a person you want to believe in you.
Standout Character
Loki takes the standout again this week! This character has so many different personalities it’s hard to keep track, and Tom Hiddleston manages to portray him so perfectly you have to appreciate how difficult it must be to play such a complex character!
Verdict
Another brilliant episode of Loki this week! This show is doing brilliant so far and has not disappointed yet!
