Over the years we have seen so many shows that got canceled far too soon, and we’ve also seen shows that are still going that perhaps shouldn’t be. But that one’s a topic for another day. This article could probably go on forever if we went through every single show that should have been continued, so I’m just going to list a basic few that really deserved more.
1. Daredevil
This show was one of my very favorites, but back in February 2019 a bunch of shows that ran on Netflix were canceled, including Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Daredevil. Daredevil had such a strong 3 Seasons, and it left me wanting so much more. Charlie Cox gave such an amazing performance as Matt Murdock and definitely deserved more than 3 seasons. There still could be a chance for Daredevil to return, but no news has been released to suggest it will be anytime soon.
2. Inhumans
I’m not sure many will agree with me on this one, but I personally loved this show. The show only had one season and was canceled after the year. Despite heavy promotion, the sales were very poor, but honestly, I feel like they really could’ve done well with this show had it continued. It’s a shame not many people took an interest but to me, it was something different, I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did.
3. Swamp Thing
Swamp things first season was supposed to be 13 episodes long, however, it was cut short to 10 episodes due to a shock cancellation of the show. The show was not renewed and viewers were never given a direct answer as to why. The show did very well, and all reviews on the show were proving how amazing the series was. Once this was canceled, it began trending on Twitter. But unfortunately, there has been no news on this show returning which is such a shame. The show was so dark and intense, from what I have seen, everyone who watched it loved it.
4. Krypton
Krypton was canceled back in August of 2019. The show ran for two seasons but was reported to have been canceled as Season two was only averaging around 400,000 viewers which was a steep decline from the 1.8 million viewers who watched Season one. The show was left on multiple cliff hangers which is very frustrating for fans of the show, one cliffhanger teased a possible interstellar war between two well-known planets in the DC Universe. Unfortunately for those of us who did tune in and love the show will now be left wondering how that would’ve played out.
