Marvel’s Blade Game Announced At The Game Awards

“In Marvel’s Blade, Eric Brooks is the legendary Daywalker, half-man, half-vampire torn between the warm society of the living and the rushing power of the undead.”

At the Game Awards, Marvel’s Blade was announced with a teaser that showcased the iconic character. From the studios Arkane Lyon and Bethesda in collaboration with Marvel Games.

Marvel’s Blade is a mature, single-player, third-person game set in the heart of Paris and is currently in development.

The game is set in a quarantined area of Paris during a “supernatural emergency” where vampires are terrorizing the night. For those unfamiliar, Blade is half-human and half-vampire, meaning he’s able to go out in sunlight without dying.

While there is no release date as of yet, the studio is in early development, according to a news release. Arkane co-creative director Dinga Bakaba asked fans to “let us cook”.

If done correctly, this could be such an incredible game, especially for a character such as Blade. I hope they do it justice.
