Star Wars may have just cast the perfecr Ezra Bridger. Mena Massoud is rumored to been cast as Ezra, the fan-favorite character from the show “Star Wars Rebels”.
Ezra Bridger is just the latest character that Disney is bringing to live-action and making the jump from the animated side of the Star Wars Universe.
According to Kessel Run Transmissions, Disney have cast Mena in the role to appear in Star Wars, and with an Ahsoka live-action series recently announced and with Ahsoka searching for Thrawn in The Mandalorian, this makes perfect sense for them to cast Ezra.
Fans have wanted more of Ezra ever since the final episode of Rebels Aired and it’s only right, we saw this character go from a street rat to a fully fledged Jedi, similar to Ahsoka.
Mena is a perfect casting choice, Mena starred in Aladdin with Will Smith, that movie made over $1 billion at the box office but ever since then the actor has struggled to land roles in anything.
I can not wait to see what Mena does with the character, how much Ezra has grown since the finale of Rebels and what he’s been through.
