Please note, our reviews are based on likes and dislikes. These contain major spoilers. If you haven’t already watched the episode we would recommend that you click off the article, and come back once you have watched the episode. Enjoy!

What I Liked

1. Steven and Marc meet again. This time it’s after Steven finds a storage locker, containing a bag filled with cash. This results in Marc speaking to Steven through the mirror. We finally get an explanation from Marc as to who he is and why he’s there. A brilliant start to the episode.

2. After Steven is arrested, he’s taken to Arthur in a small reformed community. We learn so much here which is great for the show itself. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been quite confused but the conversation with Arthur and Steven explained so many things.

3. One of the many things I’ll give the show props is the design of the suits. The original Moon Knight suit is beautiful and even now, we’ve got our first proper look at the Mr. Knight suit, which is hilariously still controlled by Steven.

4. Our first full look into Moon Knight was entertaining. Seeing him run across the rooftops with the moon in the background was thoroughly enjoyable. I really want to see more of the Marc aspects of things. I hope the next episode really focuses on that.

5. A good ending to the episode is when Marc finds himself in Egypt to find the tomb before Arthur and co. Prior to that, Steven finds himself behind the mirror talking to Marc who’s now in full control. I liked this aspect purely because it shows what Marc has had to deal with in the background for so long.

What I Disliked

The episode did feel almighty slow in parts. My wife ended up falling asleep but I think this is more due to the fact this was a “questions answered” type of episode, which is fine, but I hope the next episode picks up.

Favourite Moment

I do have to give Steven props in mind. His newly found confidence to fight the jackal is brilliant. Despite the fact he gets his ass handed to him, he still squares up well until Steven gives Marc control and the original suit returns.

Standout Character

It has to be the Marc side. As soon as he took control, suited up, and began running across the rooftops I got goosebumps. It was also brilliant to learn more about his side of the character, what he’s done, where he came from, and how this entire ordeal works.

Verdict

Not the most entertaining episode on the planet but it did serve a purpose which is fine. The episode was okay and generally answered a fair bit in regards to the confusing sides of things. However, I do feel like due to the fact the season is only limited in regards to the number of episodes, it needs to pick up a bit quicker than it has done so far.
