The final trailer for the very, very long-awaited Morbius has finally been released. With only a month left to go, this does seem like it’s officially set to release with no more delays (hopefully).
Morbius is scheduled to release on April 1, 2022, after originally meant to release back in 2020 on July 10.
“Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead.”
Initially, I saw a lot of negative comments about this movie, and to be fair, it was understandable. My only true issue with this movie is the number of delays it has had over the course of two years, enough delays to lose hype. Similar to Black Widow, to which I lost all hype and was underwhelmed, to say the least when I watched it.
However, with Morbius, this has been different, especially each time a trailer is released for the movie. I was thrown off by the number of delays but I understood why. The hype for the movie only died a little bit but was brought back to great heights when I watched the trailer.
I’m glad that this final trailer has finally got people to start talking positively about the movie, I’m seeing a lot more positive comments than I would typically see negatives and I just love to see it.
The one thing which got me insanely hyped for the movie from this final trailer was simply the quality of the visuals they have created to show Morbius’s powers and speed. It looks insane.
