Finally, it’s here. The official red band trailer for the Mortal Kombat live-action movie has finally released and it is bloody awesome. Pun intended. It should be watched by those 18+ years of age,
The trailer showcases the story, the characters, showed us Jax and how he got the metal arms, it showcased Scorpion being badass, and Sub-Zero being even more brutally badass.
The action in the movie seems great, it fits and isn’t this cheesy action sequence, you can tell they trained and put everything into it.
After an action-packed trailer, the logo was revealed and then they showed off the fatalities and oh my god, it was glorious.
The cast is huge as well as we have names like Hiroyuki Sanada, Lewis Tan, Mehcad Brooks, and Ludi Lin all starring in this as major characters.
The movie feels like it’s taking advantage of the video game series and it seems to have worked amazingly well.
Mortal Kombat is scheduled to release on April 16 in theaters and HBO Max.
