What I Liked?
1. Peacemaker is hilarious. He’s just killed a butterfly (person who attacked him), so he’s run back up to the apartment where he was and is basically stealing a lot of her stuff like Vinyl, CDs, and more, all while the police are outside investigating the explosion.
2. Honestly, the design for Vigilante is absolutely fantastic. So well designed, it’s not over the top bright, it’s just so right and very comic accurate to the source material. I actually really like it. He wasn’t wrong about what he said to Peacemaker, the only photo the government is using for Vigilante’s wanted poster is just a visor because he’s always masked.
3. Peacemaker’s father seems to have a cult following in prison, as when he got put in there, people who were obviously racists, kneeled before him and called him the White Dragon. This is a very intriguing story focused on Peacemaker’s father which I hope explores more.
What I disliked?
1. Don’t get me wrong, it was a hilarious scene but I just feel like they overplayed the “escape” scene. It was funny and amazing but it did ultimately get a tad boring towards the end of it. I feel like it was a couple of minutes too long.
Favorite Moment
My favorite moment was definitely the team who’s working with Peacemaker is just straight-up framing Peacemaker’s father for the murder of the butterfly girl. While it’s not smart and will eventually backfire, it is decent for now.
Standout Character
Once again, it has to be Peacemaker for me personally, I just truly like this character, I know I’m meant to hate him but it’s the complete opposite.
The Verdict
Overall, not much action if anything. The story made up for the lack of action by truly hinting at Peacemaker’s father being a villain. The overall story for this episode was decent and the episode delivered some funny moments.
