Russell Crowe has officially joined the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder in a role yet to be revealed.
Crowe joins up with Chris Hemsworth who is reprising his role as Thor, Natalie Portman who is playing Lady Thor, and Christian Bale who is playing the movie’s villain.
The idea was for Crowe’s cameo to be a fun one when the movie was released however, with filming underway in Australia, Crowe was spotted with cast and crew that caused Marvel to confirm the casting.
According to many Insiders, Crowe’s role in the film is one of many surprises to come from the movie, with Matt Damon set to reprise his role from Thor Ragnarok.
Taika Waititi is back as director of the movie with plot details being kept under wraps. The film is set to bow on May 6, 2022.
Along with that, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, all reprise their roles as the Guardians of the Galaxy, while Jeff Goldblum reprises his role as Grandmaster.
Jaimie Alexander is also returning to the franchise as Lady Sif.
