So it’s no secret that Star Wars has been killing the video game genre lately, but lately, I’ve seen many comments about the old Star Wars Revenge of the Sith video game should be remastered or remade for new-generation consoles, but should it?
While I do technically want the video game to be remade or remastered, I’m not in a rush to need it at any means, but I’d take it, especially with how great games have looked since being remade or remastered, a prime example is Mafia 1, that game was rough back on the PlayStation 2, I remember it looking unfinished and horrible graphics with exception to the cars and player models, but the city graphics were bad.
While no doubt this game would look graphics given a huge update graphically, especially on a console like the PlayStation 5, I think this would be great, especially with lightsaber duels like they did in Jedi Fallen Order, the duels and lightsaber motion in that was fantastic.
I remember back as a kid when I’d play this game, I loved it, I still remember playing it fully and consistently restarting the entire game because it was just that good, many fans want it, why aren’t they capitalizing on the hype? They’d kill any sales they did for this remaster.
The game follows the movie storyline very closely, incorporating footage from the movie into the game and blending it well with the game portion itself. The game even came with an alternate ending in which Anakin killed Obi-Wan and then killed Palpatine, this was mind-blowing to witness this potential reality.
I personally think that they should remaster this game, especially with the hype that the recent Star Wars games have gotten, Jedi Fallen Order debuted a brand new character in Cal Kestis and the fandom went crazy with just how great the story was, how well done the character of Cal was done and more.
If they want to continue this success they should definitely release a remaster, I can see just how hyped the announcement would be for this, the internet would explode.
