As the universe is still grieving over the untimely death of the King, Chadwick, stories are emerging everywhere showcasing the true gentleman Boseman really was.
When we hear these stories it hurts more, purely because we lost not only a very talented actor but an amazing and kind human being.
As Miller asked for a salary from the film, the studio couldn’t match it so instead, Chadwick made up the difference himself to ensure she was part of the incredible project.
Sienna Miller had this to say on her experience with Chadwick;
“I didn’t know whether or not to tell this story, and I haven’t yet. But I am going to tell it, because I think it’s a testament to who he was,” Miller says. “This was a pretty big budget film, and I know that everybody understands about the pay disparity in Hollywood, but I asked for a number that the studio wouldn’t get to. And because I was hesitant to go back to work and my daughter was starting school and it was an inconvenient time, I said, ‘I’ll do it if I’m compensated in the right way.’ – Source.
Chadwick also told her it’s what she deserves to be paid as he donated his own salary to make up the difference.
Hearing Sienna explain that it comes as no surprise because that’s just the type of person Chadwick was, and we still miss him greatly.
