I will be the first to admit, I actually only watched the first movie a couple of days ago on Netflix as I completely forgot about it after the devastation it received due to the Sonic design.
Honestly, I was super impressed with the entire movie and never understood the hate. Both I and my wife loved it. It was fun, gimmicky, and paid respect to the game lore of the character.
We knew Idris Elba had been cast as Knuckles for the sequel and Jim Carrey would be returning as Dr. Robotnik and he looks damn fantastic with the mustache from the games.
I think Sonic is definitely been one of the better video games to movies there’s been in history if I’m being honest, and this brand new trailer doesn’t look any different.
