It’s no secret that the hype surrounding Tom Holland Spider-Man is at an all-time high at the minute with the release of the third installment in the trilogy for Spider-Man “No Way Home” in a couple of weeks’ time.
So to add to this hype, Sony and Amy Pascal have confirmed that Sony is getting ready to create the next trilogy of Spider-Man movies.
Amy Pascal was an important part of the earlier Spider-Man films starring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, but she was also an important figure in negotiating the game-changing collaboration between Sony Pictures who own the film rights for Spider-Man, and Marvel Studios who create films and TV shows for Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Amy Pascal was quick to reveal the next installment of Spider-Man movies;
“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie,” Pascal revealed. “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go on to the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”
From the comments made by Amy Pascal, it looks like Tom Holland will be returning to the role of Spider-Man over the next few years.
This also fits the theory that the next trilogy will see Peter Parker try to navigate his way through college life as well as being the iconic Spider-Man.
