It’s now been confirmed that the third installment of Venom is the last one.
Sony Pictures Chairman Tom Rothman spoke to Deadline in an interview and confirmed this to be the case.
The third and last Venom, is going to be huge.

2024 isn’t as filled with comic book movies as in previous years but Venom: The Last Dance is scheduled to release this year on October 25th.
I am okay with the film being the last in the series although I don’t particularly think the series has lived up to the potential it has. Venom 1 was great, the second was okay and the third is yet to be seen.
Tom Hardy is the perfect Eddie Brock and Venom’s portrayal in this series has been super entertaining. I’m still gutted we didn’t truly see Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Tom Hardy’s Venom collide. Maybe it could happen in the third if Rothman claims it will be huge.
Either way, I’m excited and I can’t wait. Whatever way the third ends, it’s been one hell of a ride.
