Star Wars Celebration Day 3 – Recap

Day 3 of Star Wars Celebration is in full swing and of course, this means more information on future Star Wars projects.

Ahsoka

Some major characters from a previous Star Wars project have officially been confirmed to appear in the Ahsoka series, although it was 100% expected to happen.

In the tease shown to the audience, Star Wars Rebel fans were treated with the first tease for the upcoming series with it being confirmed that Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, and fan-favorite droid, Chopper will appear in the series.

We already knew that Sabine Wren would be appearing in the series as we reported months ago that Natasha Liu Bordizzo was cast as the Mandalorian Rebel.

People are already theorizing that Mary Elizabeth-Winstead could well be a fan-favorite character, Hera Syndulla as we know she has been cast in an unknown role.

We could also see the live-action debut and return of Ezra Bridger as the rumor is that Mena Massoud has been cast as the character and Ezra is the main story arc of the Ahsoka series and the mission that fans saw Sabine and Ahsoka take up at the end of Rebels.

Tales of the Jedi

Tales of the Jedi is an anthology of original animated shorts, each story featuring Jedi from the prequel era. This original animated series is streaming this Fall in 2022 only on Disney+.

The series will be animated shorts featuring certain Jedi including Count Dooku, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and more.

3 of the episodes will focus on Ahsoka and we shall see a young Ahsoka Tano and her mother. Ahsoka Tano’s mother will be voiced by Janina Gavankar.

Liam Neeson will return to voice Qui-Gon Jinn. Along with Liam Neeson returning, we will see Liam Neeson’s son voicing a young Qui-Gon Jinn.

Since we are seeing the return of Liam Neeson to voice the character of Qui-Gon Jinn again, could this also see him return in the Kenobi series?

Tales of the Jedi is shaping up into a really great series which I will be sure to check out this Fall.
