Star Wars Rebels has been a fan favorite for many years now and has introduced us to characters such as Sabine Wren, Kanan Jarrus, and Ezra Bridger.
The latest rumor hitting the internet is that Disney is looking for someone to cast as Ezra Bridger for live-action in a series over on Disney+. The report has said the on-going casting has them searching for a male between the ages of 30-40 years old and Asian descent however they are open to Indian, Latino, or middle-eastern.
This is apparently also not for The Mandalorian season 2. If they are truly casting someone to play an older Ezra that means we won’t see him appear in the Obi-Wan or Cassian Andor Disney+ series.
Also, this rumor fits in line with the recent news of Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, and possibly Sabine Wren coming to live-action in The Mandalorian season 2.
The Mandalorian Disney+ series has expanded the Star Wars universe in more ways than one. It gave us new characters in Baby Yoda and even going as far as delivering Ahsoka Tano in live-action in season 2 but the latest rumor could change all that.
While seeing our favorite animated heroes come to live-action, we could also be seeing a villain make the jump from books and animation to live-action.
Admiral Thrawn could be on his way to our screens. According to Daniel Richtman, Thrawn is coming however he didn’t have any more details on it.
While I’m unsure on how I feel about this, it would make sense with the rumor of them looking to cast a live-action Ezra Bridger because the last we saw of both Thrawn and Ezra was in the season finale of Rebels when Thrawn and Ezra when the two entered hyperspace in a smashed-up ship, however, the two survived the trip.
Could The Mandalorian season 2 introduce a live-action Ahsoka and Sabine looking for any signs of Ezra Bridger, There have been rumors of Ahsoka getting a live-action show as well as a spin-off to Rebels focusing on her and Sabine?
