While fans knew what month the Star Wars Disney+ series “Ahsoka” would be premiering in was August, we didn’t have an exact date… until now.
Disney has released a brand new thirty-second trailer revealing the release date for the upcoming series starring Rosario Dawson.
The first episode will premiere on Wednesday, August 23. Alongside a new teaser and some images showcasing Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka as well as a new look at the Inquisitor.
“Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows former Jedi Knight and Anakin Skywalker’s protégée Ahsoka Tano as she investigates threats to the New Republic.”
We also get a new look at Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren.
The series will also debut the live-action version of Grand Admiral Thrawn played by the talented Lars Mikkelsen as Thrawn hopes to install himself as the head of a new empire.
The teaser also shows us Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, and his new apprentice Shin Hati who is played by Ivanna Sakhno.
One character that has been kept far away from promotional material thus far is Hayden Christensen, who is confirmed to be reprising his role as Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker.
