Season 3 Episode 8 – “Desperate for intel, Hunter and Wrecker track down a dangerous bounty hunter.”

What I Liked

1. The Empire has been hiring bounty hunters to do their dirty work for them. These dangerous bounty hunters have been kidnapping high-value targets with the M count. Hunter and Wrecker need to track down Fennic Shand to ask for intel.

2. Hunter and Wrecker have to work for Fennic Shand to get the intel they need. They need to go after a dangerous bounty that Fennic can not capture alone. I do like how they teased the two as bounty hunters and we now get to see them in action.

3. Hunter and Wrecker find out that Fennic didn’t lose the target when she went after Omega, but more so she let Omega go when the bounty was called off by the client. I do like how smart Fennic is to realize they are willing to work for her because of how important this intel is.

4. The bounty the trio are after manages to take down Hunter and Wrecker and tries to steal the boat Fennic outsmarts him but he still manages to get away from her until until the trio all hit him with a stun blast.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

Honestly, my favorite moment would be just after Hunter and Wrecker finish deactivating the mines they get attacked by alligator-type creatures. Hunter gets caught in one’s mouth by his backpack so Wrecker being the mad person he is, jumps into the water and has a fist fight with a gator.

Standout Character

Honestly, I’m giving this to Wrecker. This man is crazy enough to jump into a gator’s territory and fight them with his fists.

Verdict

Overall a solid episode that slightly moves the story forward and expands into the bounty hunter part of Star Wars. The episode also made the M count people more important now so I’m curious to see where and who has the M count in them.
