What I Liked
1. The Batch makes it to Tantiss but they are being expected to arrive so Hemlock sends out fighter ships to destroy them before they arrive. The guns on the ground also begin to shoot at the Batch. I actually really like Hemlock as a villain even though he’s only a scientist.
2. I really like how smart Echo actually is. I know it’s a tiny thing but seeing him be locked on a ship with enemies and having to take down a stormtrooper and take his armor to get off the ship and then destroy a droid and steal his hand to look more normal is really good.
3. Rampart wakes up a massive beast and it chases the Batch. Wrecker being Wrecker thinks he can easily fight it but the creature absolutely wrecks him and causes the Batch to continue running away into the blaster fire of stormtroopers.
What I Disliked
Nothing to report.
Favorite Moment
My favorite moment would be Echo telling Emerie that Omega saw something in her and that he wants to believe she is right. Emerie offers to help Echo free Omega and the children but I am not sure if I believe her just yet.
Standout Character
Honestly, I’m giving this to Echo. He had the hardest job to do in the episode and he did it flawlessly.
Verdict
It is a very quick episode that basically sets up the events of the next episode. Seeing Echo flawlessly navigate through the Tantiss base while seemingly getting the help of Emerie was great. I am looking forward to seeing what is to come.
