What I Liked

1. If Emery tests Omega’s blood, she’ll be in danger. Nala Se tells Omega that she will be in danger if the blood is tested so she needs to go get her data pad and use it to escape today before it’s too late. I guess for Omega it’s showtime.

2. Somehow… Palpatine returned. Emperor Palpatine arrives on Mount Tantiss to see the progress Hemlock has made. Palpatine has come to check on the progress of Project Necromancer. This could be his plan to return in the Episode 9 movie.

3. Emery tries to talk Omega and Crosshair out of escaping. She tells them that they are not thinking correctly. Emery tries to inform the base of the escape but quickly gets stunned by Crosshair. Honestly, I do eventually think she’ll come around and do the right thing, it’s just a matter of “when”.

4. The Empire knows that Omega is special now her blood sample has confirmed it. Emery had the chance to do the right thing and she didn’t. Once again, Omega is on the run from the Empire, this time, Hemlock has everything at his disposal.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

Omega and Crosshair engage the Stormtroopers with “plan 72”, Omega tells Crosshair that Tech remembered every plan. Omega makes her way to the Stormtrooper’s ship with help from the animal she freed. Omega and Crosshair manage to steal the ship.

Standout Character

The standout character for this episode was Omega. She finally manages to escape and even brings along Crosshair and the animal she rescued.

Verdict

Overall a solid episode that had everything. Great story, great action, great appearances, and finally progresses the story more. I can’t help but think if the first three episodes was an entire 70-minute episode it would have been a 10/10 episode.
