What I Liked

1. Omega runs off into danger while the rest of the Batch is dealing with smugglers. Omega runs into some droids attacking a young Wookie. That young Wookie is Gungi. A Jedi padawan that somehow survived the purge.

2. While in a standoff, Gungi manages to use the Force and retrieve his lightsaber. The Batch and Gungi have to shoot their way off of the transport ship. The droids say that Gungi is worth much more alive to his “buyers”.

3. It is always nice to revisit old planets within the Star Wars universe. Kashyyyk is a unique, fascinating world. I’m so glad this series has returned to Kashyyyk. I remember exploring this world for hours on Jedi Fallen Order.

4. The Wookies and The Batch ambush the trandoshan’s and the Empire, ensuing in a huge battle. We get to see the creatures of the Kashyyyk homeworld come to help, and Gungi takes it upon himself to become the Jedi that Ahsoka knew he could be and help stand against the Empire.

What I Disliked

Nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would simply be Gungi and the Batch teaming up to fight some Trandoshans on the Kashyyyk homeworld. The feud between Trandoshans and the Wookies is a long brutal history so it’s also nice to see those two fights.

Standout Character

I’m going to give this to Gungi. A fan-favorite character returned post-Order 66. He’s grown on his own and now stands for something on Kashyyyk.

Verdict

A really great episode. Gungi returned, it showed that this episode would have been the same had Kanan Jarrus allowed the Clones, except Crosshair to help him survive. Overall a fun, great episode.
