Season 1 Episode 12 “With the ISA on their trail, Courtney, Pat and the team regroup to figure out their next steps; Rick makes a breakthrough; the team prepares for a showdown with the ISA.”
What I Liked
1. Sportsman and Tigress have been ordered to kill Courtney and her family. Sportsman arrives at the Garage with Pat, meanwhile, Tigress has entered Courtney’s home and is about to kill Barbara. Courtney steps in and saves her mother and the pair team up to take out Tigress. Unexpectedly, the one to save Pat happens to be Mike, by drilling a hole into Sportsman’s back. Pretty brutal.
2. We now know Principal Bowin is the Fiddler’s Wife. After Sportsman and Tigress failed to kill Courtney and her family, Jordan contacts her to help finish the job.
3. Bowin shows up to Courtney’s house, only to find Tigress and Sportsman, but no Stargirl or her family. After throwing insults towards the pair, Bowin appears to take it a step too far when she tells them they are unfit to be parents. This sparked an unexpected turn of events as Tigress aims her crossbow at Bowins head, appearing to kill her.
4. Courtney, her family and the rest of the team find out the ISA’s plan and all about the synaptic amplifier. They now have the map to the tunnels discovered from rick’s dad’s journal, and plan to destroy the device.
4. The Team gather together and head to the tunnels to stop the ISA. While Beth and Barbara hack into their systems The Gambler manages to join into their conversation and warns them it has already begun, and will take 30 minutes to complete. We first see Barbara affected by the synaptic amplifier as she stares blankly with no communication, and right before the end of the episode, we then see Pat while in his Robot, affected by Brainwave also.
What I Disliked

Favourite Moment

Standout Character
Standout character for me this week is going to have to go to Barbara. The way her views changed and she joined the team in preparation to take on the ISA. Not only has she accepted Courtney for who she is, but also appears to be enjoying helping out with the team!
Verdict
A great episode once again, the team is now bigger and stronger than ever and we can’t wait to see what next weeks episode brings us!
