What I Liked

1. Lois rings the bell to mark the end of her chemo treatment. A nice touch to the story, obviously it’s not the end of it though as we do still have her surgery to get passed yet.

2. Finally we get something, surprisingly it came from Jordan. Sarah and Junior drive away from a party as the police turn up, Sarah is driving while drunk, at a high speed with the lights off. Predictably the car comes off the road and flips, certainly enough to kill both of them but Jordan flew through the car saving the pair.

3. Superman heard the chaos happening at The DEO, but unfortunately, he’s being held up by Kyle who is adamant Jonathon has powers. Clark tries to rush him off but isn’t successful and in the end, has to expose himself as Superman to Kyle. Pleased that’s finally happened!

What I Disliked

1. Once again Jordan and Sarah bickering on. It’s getting completely boring and repetitive. The relationship ended so either they’re getting back together or they’re not but it’s been long enough now it needs to stop.

2. We’re about 20 minutes in and I am so unbelievably bored. No action, no decent story going on, just nothing.

3. This season thus far has been beyond subpar in comparison to the first 2 seasons. This episode further proves it. This season has brought next to nothing when it comes to Superman. We’re seeing him in the suit for very small portions and this is what we want to see. Don’t get me wrong, the stuff with Lois is relatable and also extremely emotional but that’s the only thing that the show has done well. The rest of it has been poor.

Favorite Moment

Eventually, the story got good! Peia is given the cure by Matteo and begins tearing through the DEO to get out. I have to say she’s making a very interesting villain I didn’t think she’d be making a comeback but hopefully, this will make the season more entertaining!

Standout Character

As I said before this was a very slow episode so I’m going to give the standout to the person who finally kicked off the episode and gave me something to write about which was Peia! Perfect for her role and brought some action to the episode!

Verdict

The majority of the episode was very disappointing and only picked up towards the end. I will say though that ending has me finally looking forward to the next episode!
