What I Liked
1. Lois breaking the news to her family and friends was absolutely heartbreaking to watch. More so when Sam received the news, his reaction was very real and really hit hard. I couldn’t imagine how much it would hurt as a parent to hear those words from your child but as an actor, Sam captured the feeling perfectly on screen.
2. Clark’s recurring dream was pretty brutal throughout this episode. We’re yet to know the meaning of it but we see him flying across the city with Lois screaming his name as a building collapses on top of her.
3. After Jonathan’s truck is stolen, Jonathon, Jordan, and Natalie take matters into their own hands. I have to admit this was very enjoyable to watch as they took down an entire gang of men in order to get the truck and Natalie’s watch back.
4. I’m glad we had a glimpse of John Irons back In his suit, I feel like we don’t get to see much of it anymore. I hope going forward they can start bringing him back into the fold a little more because he’s a great backup for Superman.
5. The blood stashed in the freezer where Lois and Chrissy were trapped turns out to be Superman’s blood. From what it seems Bruno Mannheim is using his blood to create his own version of Superman’s powers.
What I Disliked
I don’t quite get why they are making Lana’s character unlikable. She was always one of my favorites in the show yet that has completely changed this season and it is a shame.
Favorite Moment
Okay so, I can not express how amazing that single-second moment was when Chrissy pressed the call for Superman, Lois screamed his name and he was just away. It was absolutely incredible. The music as he takes off made it feel extremely powerful and I just loved it. His response time and power as he plowed through them were great to watch.
Standout Character
Superman is taking the standout this week. His moments on screen as Superman and Clark were amazing, and the moment he saved Lois and Chrissy was just the best moment of the entire episode.
Verdict
An incredible episode this week! We’ve got a better glimpse from this episode of what is to come from Bruno Mannheim and a heartbreaking start for Lois as she starts her cancer journey.
