“Superman & Lois” Show In The Works At The CW

The CW is developing a one hour pilot episode for “Superman & Lois” for next season. Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will reprise their respective roles as the cunning reporter Clark Kent and the tough as nails Lois Lane.

The one hour pilot will be executive produced and wrote by former Flash showrunner Todd Helbing, Greg Berlanti and Warner Bro’s TV. The show would follow the super-duo as they deal with all of the stress, pressures, and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.

This means we could potentially see a Jonathan Kent (Superboy) appear if the series gets picked up for a couple of seasons.

Tyler Hoechlin debuted as Clark Kent in Supergirl’s season 2 premiere while Elizabeth Tulloch debuted in the Elseworlds crossover in the Arrowverse.

Geoff Johns will also serve as an executive producer on “Superman & Lois”. Which with his involvement the show should have great stories and action!

“Superman & Lois” is being developed as a standalone pilot and will not be introduced as a planted spinoff on one of the existing DC series on the CW.
