Superman Red Son Review

Once again Warner Bro’s Animation has knocked it out of the ball park with their latest animated movie.

This time based upon the graphic novel “Superman: Red Son” the animated movie has elements of the book as well as improving upon the book and story it’s self.

From a star studded cast to a amazing story this one again proves why DC Comics has the best animated movies releasing in the last few years.

Superman Red Son showcased some of the Soviet Superman’s years as leader from finding out the Russian President lied to him to coming up against a hate fueled Batman to coming up against the new Green Lantern Corps to working with Luthor to defeat Brainiac.

Superman: Red Son is breathtakingly good, a sophisticated, thought-provoking, and thrilling new take on DC’s most beloved characters.

Superman Red Son also takes a gamble on portraying both Superman and Batman as some murder happy characters which works out in this movie as Superman Red Son uses that plot point to give it’s self a advantage.

Overall Superman Red Son is just another great animated movie from DC and Warner Bro’s Animation which is definitely worth checking out. While this isn’t connected to such movies as Justice League War, it does show us that it belongs with Batman: Gotham by Gaslight as a DC Elseworlds story.
