The CW’s Gotham Knights Canceled After 1 Season

Thankfully, after just a single season, Gotham Knights has been canceled.

The only surviving DC show to remain on The CW’s roster is Superman and Lois after the show has been renewed for a fourth and likely final season.

I can’t say I’m remotely surprised at this announcement. The CW needs to give it a rest when it comes to creating fresh new DC shows as it doesn’t work.

The Gotham Knights was destined to fail from the get-go and even through the marketing, the show was met with a critical response from fans.

It didn’t feature the main heroes from the Gotham Knights like Red Hood, Nightwing, etc, and instead featured randomly created characters that have never been featured in a comic book before.

It was blatant in the first episode how poor it was. The budget was obviously stupidly low it made no sense how this show went ahead when others got canceled.

Even when we reviewed the first episode, we gave it a 1.8/10 and I still believe that was generous. If you wish to read that review, you can do so by clicking here.
