Blue Beetle’s live-action debut is something many fans are excited to see, even with the current state of the DC Universe, many fans still can not wait to see Xolo Mariduena star as Jaime Reyes aka Blue Beetle.
The film stars Xolo Mariduena, Bruno Marquezine, Belissa Escobedo, George Lopez, Adriana Barraza, Elpidia Carrillo, Damian Alcazar, Raoul Trujillo, Susan Sarandon, and additionally, Harvey Guillen has been cast in an undisclosed role.

The director is Angel Manuel Soto, and Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer will be writing the movie.
The movie is set to be released in theaters on August 18.
