The Last of Us season 2 is set to embrace our screens in 2025 although we don’t have an official release date yet.
The trailer shows us some small clips as to what we’re going to expect from the second season and even in these tiny clips, it looks like we won’t be disappointed again.
It looks as though the series will follow a similar path to the first season where they follow the game’s events down to a T with a few added extras to boost the series’ length.
Pedro Pascal will be returning to reprise his role as Joel as will Bella Ramsey as Ellie.
There have been other casts including the infamous Abby who will be portrayed by Kaitlyn Dever. I am looking forward to this particular casting more than anything else.
The reason is that towards the end of the second game, I came to really like Abby’s character and why she golfed the way she did – I hope the series does a good job of making the viewer resonate with the character as the series progresses.
It’s a show I am extremely looking forward to as I preferred the second game to the first so roll on 2025.
