reports are coming out from SlashFilms stating that Rosario Dawson has been cast as the first live-action Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2.
It’s been 12 years since Ahsoka was introduced into the Star Wars lore in The Clone Wars animated series.
In the past year or so has been a big year for the character when The Clone Wars Season 7 got announced where we’ll be finally seeing Ahsoka and Rex during Order 66. There has also been talks of a spin-off show from Rebels focused on Ahsoka and Sabine Wren.
Ahsoka was then heard as a voice in episode 9 of the Star Wars movies.
Rosario Dawson has been one of the top actors in fan’s fan casts for Ahsoka Tano and It would make sense that we’d see some form of Jedi in Season 2 of The Mandalorian as we’ve just got the Black Saber in the finale of season 1.
