The first official trailer has been released online for the Star Wars upcoming series The Acolyte. While fans saw a trailer at a Star Wars con, this is the first official trailer released online.
From creator Leslye Headland, The Acolyte stars Amandla Stenberg, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss, Charlie Barnett, Joonas Suotamo, and more.
“Star Wars series that takes viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.”
The show premieres on June 4, with a two-episode premiere. It’s an original series on Disney+.
Episodes 1 & 2 will be directed by Leslye Headland, Episodes 3 & 7 will be directed by Kogonada, Episodes 4 & 5 will be directed by Alex Garcia Lopez and Episodes 6 & 8 will be directed by Hanelle Culpepper.
A new poster was also released for the series.
