What I Liked

1. The Titans awaken 7 hours later after the events of the previous episode, everyone is there except for Gar, who is missing. The Titans argue with Connor for his actions. This new Lex version of Connor is exciting.

2. The Titans find out that this whole thing with Brother Blood is really a means to bring back Trigon, and his return means that he is going to eat the world. The person who speaks alien languages tells Kory that she will end up dying.

3. It does seem as if the episode is setting up that while Lex is helping the Titans from behind the grave, he’s also somewhat manipulating Connor into becoming something he isn’t, something that Lex wants, not Connor.

4. Interesting, this place “Caul’s Folly” is weird. While they enter the town, Tim sees the team disappear in the campervan. While Kory, Dick, and Raven enter the town, they get a parking ticket. Dick tells Kory to leave town and go find Tim, but when she can’t, she returns to Dick to show him. Kory begins to feel weird after drinking a milkshake, Raven is also the same, although she gets kidnapped.

What I Disliked

1. Honestly, if Lex Luthor is genuinely helping the Titans from beyond the grave, I’m not sure I like it. Lex has always been a fantastic villain and only does stuff for himself.

2. Honestly, this relationship between Tim and Bernard is decent, love it, but it felt so boring, and so flat in this episode. I love it because it’s giving Tim character development, but, honestly, it kept taking me out of the episode.

Favorite Moment

Honestly, the episode left it to the very last moment to give me my favorite moment and it was none other than seeing Dick get beat up by a bunch of cops and then revealed in front of the town with Brother Blood there.

Standout Character

Honestly, hard to give a standout character but I’d give this to Connor. He’s a very interesting character this season, more so now than ever now he’s adopted the Lex personality.

Verdict

Honestly, a boring and flat episode, with little to no action. The episode delivered flat dialogue, boring scenes between certain characters and only somewhat got interesting at the end when Dick had a fight scene. The scenes between Tim and Bernard kept taking me out of the episode.
