Top 10 2022 Comic-Related Projects I’m Most Excited For?

It’s no shock that 2022 is going to be a big year for comic-related projects from the world of comics to live-action to animation and video games. It seems to be a big year for movies and video games alike as well as TV shows, but ultimately there is a lot to be excited about, but what is my top 10 list?

10. The Mandalorian Season 3

When The Mandalorian first got announced, no one knew what to expect with it, many didn’t truly want the show to happen, however, when it did air, it aired some absolutely fantastic episodes set throughout the Star Wars galaxy. The second season expanded that and it became my all-time favorite series and I can not wait to see the third season and what that has in store for viewers.

9. Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga

Everything we have seen from the upcoming Lego Star Wars game has been absolutely amazing, the only thing letting this down for me is the lack of communication from the developers, the lack of trailers, and no actual date for the release. While I am excited about this game, I just wish we had a proper date for the release.

8. Black Adam

Black Adam is The Rock’s baby project and something he’s wanted to make for close to a decade now and he’s finally doing it. While we’ve only had a teaser for this movie the hype and excitement from The Rock as well as fans have got this movie onto my top 10 list.

7. Peacemaker series

Fans got introduced to Peacemaker played by John Cena in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. The character did what he was intended to make viewers and fans absolutely dislike him. For me, Peacemaker was a standout in The Suicide Squad movie and I have been excited for the series since it was first announced.

6. The Flash movie

At this current time, The Flash movie as well as the DCEU in general is not a very well received property from fans, however, as a big Flash fan, I couldn’t be more excited for this movie to happen. Especially from the trailer showcasing two Barry Allen’s, Supergirl, Michael Keaton’s Batman, and more.

5. Gotham Knights

Originally, I didn’t want another Batman Arkham game but when this was first announced and it showcased that it moved away from Bruce Wayne and allowed the player(s) to control Red Hood, Damian Wayne, Nightwing, and Batgirl got me so invested in the upcoming game.

4. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse 2

A sequel to the first Into the Spider-Verse movie focused on Miles Morales Spider-Man as well as many other versions of the character throughout the multiverse got me excited. I absolutely loved the first movie and to see a sequel releasing this year has got me very excited, especially with it being in two parts.

3. Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness

Sticking with the theme of multiverses, the sequel to the first Doctor Strange movie as well as the continuation of breaking the multiverse within the Marvel Cinematic Universe is very pleasing. The trailer was recently released for the upcoming movie which showcased Dark Doctor Strange from the “What If” series.

2. The Batman

Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne Batman set in his second year as the iconic hero. From the moment that Robert Pattinson was just a fan cast, I was excited and the trailers have exploded my excitement for this movie and I can not wait to see the movie and bask in its glory.

1. Hogwarts Legacy

Set in the 1800s, Hogwarts Legacy allows the player to create a character within the wizarding world and be a student at the iconic school of magic, you can choose the path you want to take whether that be a good wizard or a dark wizard. This is my most anticipated project of this year and I am dying to see more gameplay and trailers for it.

Comic book and nerd fans across the world are going to be in such a great year for comic/nerdy projects from movies, animation, games, and more. I can not wait to see everything that comes out this year and review each and every one of those.
