Top 5 DC TV Shows I’d Love To Watch For The First Time Again

Recently, Phil did an entire top 5 dedicated to Marvel projects only. Today, I wanted to purely discuss DC superhero shows as I feel like several of them have existed. If you’d like to read Phil’s list on the Marvel side, you can do so by clicking the button below.

1. Arrow

Stephen Amell as The Green Arrow in Arrow – The CW

Arrow will always hold a special place in my heart. Despite the fact this isn’t list isn’t in any particular order, this show would be top. Don’t get me wrong, I know the show fell off during season 4, picked up during season 5, and then fell off again after that. However, it’s a show that I love. I’ve watched it multiple times but when I first began watching the show, all of the first 2 seasons were out and most of season 3 – I binged them. I’ve never been more addicted to a TV show in my life.

2. The Flash

Weirdly, I watched The Flash before Arrow. I remember being hungover, thinking about how my life is a complete mess and I began to watch this. I then turned to Arrow only because Oliver Queen showed up in the first episode and I became intrigued. The Flash though in the beginning was fantastic. The first 3 seasons are an absolute pleasure. The show never recovered after that and got worse as the seasons progressed but those first 3 seasons I’d love to re-watch again for the first time.

3. Gotham

The show completely shattered the usual Batman lore but my God, what a damn show Gotham was. it had everything you’d want from an out-of-control Gotham City. I was thankful to be able to watch all of it besides the final season in 1 go. Me and my wife became completely hooked for weeks watching this. The final season was perhaps one of the best final seasons of a show I’ve ever seen. I don’t think this show could ever be topped, even if there’s a remake or a show that’s going to be similar.

4. Peacemaker

Peacemaker wasn’t a show I particularly cared for. It’s another show where I was ill/hungover so I decided to watch it. I had COVID-19 at the time, I had it for around 4-5 days at the point I began watching this show. I became that hooked, and the COVID settled (I could’ve returned to work), I instead took an extra day off to finish it. It’s a show I’ve since rewatched and I can’t wait for the second season. Peacemaker was one of the most entertaining shows during that time of my life.

5. Titans

In season 1, people hated it. I defended this show to the highest hill only because I cared about it. It’s actually because of this show that our network exists today. I think this show got better as it went on, I think if you’re a first-time watcher, having the ability to binge the entire thing will likely make the experience so much better. That’s what I’d love to have the ability to do, be able to watch it all the way through from the first episode. I’m still devastated the show was canceled but I fully understood why.
