Uli Latukefu Joins Dwayne Johnson’s “Black Adam”

Dwayne The Rock Johnson’s Black Adam is officially underway filming in Atlanta.

Since it’s started filming we’ll be getting more and more updates throughout the filming period and today is just that, Deadline has revealed a new casting.

Uli Latukefu has joined the cast of Black Adam. What makes this casting special or different from other castings is his potential appearance in the movie.

Uli Latukefu’s role in Black Adam is currently being kept a secret, but giving his history with Dwayne, it’s a good theory that Uli will indeed be playing a young Black Adam as Uli is currently starring in “Young Rock” a TV series about The Rock’s life, and Uli is currently playing the “football era” version of Dwayne.

He was handpicked by Johnson to play his younger self, beating out thousands of hopefuls for the role. So given this history, it is a good chance that he is in fact playing a young version of Black Adam, however, this could be wrong.

He joins the film with other actors portraying DC’s Justice Society, including Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone. Marwan Kenzari, Sarah Shahi, Mohammed Amer, James Cusati-Moyer, and Bodhi Sabongui also round out the cast.
