Venom: Let There Be Carnage Delayed Again Due To COVID-19

Sony has confirmed that due to the highly contagious delta-variant of COVID-19, Venom’s sequel has been delayed again from the 24th of September to the 15th of October.

It is unfortunate but it is completely understandable, especially considering the theatres have struggled due to multiple lockdowns, and even when they’ve opened doors again, success seems to be difficult in the Box Office.

The movie has already been delayed multiple times due to the pandemic, but we are hopeful that this will be the last time the film is pushed back.

We know the movie is complete, and it’s ready for release, I suspect Sony just wants to ensure they get the best possible revenue back from this.

At the moment, we do know the delay is in the United States only, but we do believe this will be a worldwide delay in order to ensure the movie is released at the same time for everyone.

I guess I’m just thankful it’s only being pushed back 3 weeks instead of months again.
