Warner Bros. to debut ENTIRE 2021 Movie Slate on HBO Max

Only weeks ago Warner Bros. announced that Wonder Woman 1984 would release in theatres as well as debut on HBO Max on Christmas day, many thought it was only this movie, especially with the situation with Covid-19.

However, Warner Bros. has decided to release their entire movie slate for 2021 into the theatres as well as release it on HBO Max on the same day as the theatre release.

This is huge, especially for Warner Bros. as they have some HUGE movies ready to be released, such movies as The Suicide Squad, Matrix 4, DUNE, Space Jam 2, and Godzilla vs Kong among many more.

This is also a huge risk, Warner Bros. hasn’t even debuted Wonder Woman 1984 onto the streaming service, (although we know that it will do well), it might flop in the sense that many people might go to the theater to see it.

What else this means for theaters, we don’t know, the box office might take a hit, releasing these huge movies in the theaters as well as HBO Max on the same day? It could be a bad move.

Many people seem to like the idea of it but we do have to think about the box office and the budget of these movies, can they make their money back from the box office if people choose to watch on HBO Max?
