What I Liked

1. I do like how this episode we are getting something involving the Eternals and the Celestials. While not everyone enjoyed the Eternals movie, I did enjoy the characters that were introduced within that movie so to see this in animation is fantastic.

2. Seeing a dance-off between Agatha Harkness and Kingo was something that wasn’t on my bingo card but here we are. I won’t lie, this scene was pretty much. You felt the differences within each dance style and you felt like there was something more between the two characters.

3. So Agatha in this universe is a hero who wants to stop the Eternals from releasing the Celestial within the Earth. She’s used the rest of the Eternal’s powers and got them in “storage” and only needs Kingo’s power to complete her spell.

4. We get to see Agatha harness the power of the Eternals as well as Tiamut the Celestial. She grows bigger than the Earth. Arishem arrives on Earth and engages in a literal fistfight with Agatha. Agatha can truly throw this hands but so can Arishem.

What I Disliked

Honestly, nothing to report.

Favorite Moment

My favorite moment would be when Agatha and Kingo get to it and begin to fight with Kingo using his signature finger guns as his weapons which Agatha makes fun of. This fight scene was a hard-hitting fight in which Agatha seemingly won.

Standout Character

Agatha takes this! She was amazing and we saw her get insanely powerful.

Verdict

Honestly, this episode was better than I expected. I thought it was going to be another case of a Hollywood musical but when it was Hollywood, it was a decent episode with a solid story and some great action.

One Comment

  1. This episode felt rushed and flimsy.

1- why did Arishem have to fly to earth instead of teleport like he normally does?

2- We have two celestial beings and their battle is….a fist fight? Uninspiring

3- This episode ended the same way the first one did, a big powerful being is talked down

4- Howard stark acted nothing like Howard stark. Id rather them just get a character with that personality instead of throwing it on an established character. Howard the duck is available …just say he’s a billionaire in this universe
