What We Expect From DC At SDCC 2019

As San Diego Comic Con is fast approaching to the 18th July, 2019, DC, as always, will be present. Last year we got some incredible introductions. WW84 reveal, TITANS & Aquaman trailers and so much more.

DC have been behind Marvel in the movie sides of things for a number of years, but what can we truly expect from DC this year? After all, Marvel is not attending so it’s their time to shine.

Movies

With Wonder Woman 84 coming in 2020, and a poster reveal not so long ago. For me personally, I would love to finally see a teaser, or even a full length trailer for our female hero.

Recently we had a teaser from the Birds of Prey movie, also scheduled for the 7th February 2020. Some news, or a full length trailer should be in the offering. The movie is only 8 months away from release, maybe it’s time to show us a trailer?

Shows

Of course, the Arrowverse cast will be there, on panels as they are every year. Grant Gustin, Stephen Amell, and Melissa Benoist should all be there. The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl should all come with their next season trailers.

Batwoman should have another trailer, maybe this time it won’t receive the incredible backlash the first trailer did. When the first trailer dropped, it was accused of many different things, from both men, and woman. We hope the next one shows more Batwoman, her origins, and what she’s truly capable of.

With a solid ending to TITANS season 1, especially after a slow build, we should see a brand new trailer. News has been pouring in with castings, and new characters set to embrace our screen, more so Superboy, and Aqualad, alongside Bruce Wayne.

Animations have always been a strong runner for DC, we should see two brand new animation trailers for two shows; The Harley Quinn series, and Young Justice.

With Swamp Thing already cancelled after season 1, speculation began to form as to whether Doom Patrol would get another season. If we don’t get a trailer at SDCC, then some news would go a long way.

Other potential trailers or news could include; Pennyworth, any new movie or show that could be announced.

Of course, new Special Edition Funko Pops! will be available, along with comic signings, panels, more merchandise, and the incredible cosplayers we see every year.

What do you want to see most? Or is there anything you would love to see announced!
