The Marvel Netflix shows were amazing, each time a new season dropped everyone binged it and they were the talk of the town even if you didn’t like them.
Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones all made up the defenders and we even got to see them battle The Hand in a Defenders team-up series which was so good. It’s also a very underrated show.
The shows gave us amazing side characters in Elecktra, Nelson and Karen Page. The show even gave us one of the best Marvel villains in Kingpin played by the incredible Vincent D’Onofrio.
When Daredevil Season 2 dropped it started off with a blast… literally. The show introduced us to Frank Castle AKA The Punisher who was instantly liked and received his own series not long after Season 2 of Daredevil released.
But a lot of people ask when can Marvel use them in the MCU in the future.
Daredevil
A lot of people want the blind lawyer to appear in the 3rd installment of Spider-Man to help him after the events of Far From Home but it’s highly unlikely he’ll appear in the movie since Spider-Man is scheduled to film in a few months whereas Marvel can officially use Daredevil on November 29th, 2020.
Iron Fist
The Netflix show focused on Danny Rand returning to New York City to defeat the Hand and regain control of his family’s company. A lot of people disliked the show however I was one of the few that really enjoyed it. Iron Fist was the first to be canceled by Netflix. Marvel can begin to use him on October 12th, 2020.
Luke Cage
Luke Cage is another Netflix show which people disliked and again I was one of the few that really enjoyed it. Luke Cage suffered the same fate as Iron Fist a week later and got canceled. The date for Marvel to begin to use him is October 19th, 2020.
The Punisher
Frank Castle AKA The Punisher burst onto our Netflix screens in Season 2 of Daredevil and quickly became a fan favorite which leads to him quickly getting a spin-off. The date for him is set on February 18th, 2021.
Jessica Jones
Jessica Jones was somehow able to be picked up for a 3rd season. The show for me was my least enjoyable. I still haven’t managed to finish Season 3 because it was just bland and boring. Marvel can officially use her on and after February 18th, 2021.
After these dates are when the rights officially go back to Marvel and they can be free to use them in anything going forward if they choose too. If they choose to use any of the characters, a lot of fans want Marvel to bring back Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal as Daredevil and The Punisher.
