It’s been a few days since it was announced that Ruby Rose would not be returning to her role as Batwoman. Now what all of us viewers are wondering is who could take on the role? A lot of fans have been speculating about this. Here are a few ideas that we have seen so far.
1. Stephanie Beatriz
Stephanie Beatriz is best known for her role as Detective Rosa Diaz in the NBC comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Stephanie has made the public aware that she would be interested in taking on the role as Batwoman. This could be possible as the show is still looking to cast someone who is part of the LGBT community. Stephanie made it public in 2016 that she is in fact bisexual. This could be an interesting choice for our next Batwoman.
2. Bella Thorne
Bella Thorne is another American actress who’s known mostly for her Disney Role as CeCe Jones in Shake It Up. However, Bella may not have time in her busy schedule to fulfil this role as she currently has nine films in the pipeline and also a role in the TV series, paradise city. Plus we also can’t forget Bella Thorne is 12 years younger than Ruby Rose, this probably isn’t meant to be, unfortunately.
3. Rachel Skarsten
Rachel currently plays the role of Kate’s twin sister, Alice. Or formally known as Beth. You know before she started murdering people. However, this could be an interesting take. Could Rachel also take on the role of Kate and just play the two as Identical sisters? Honestly, I think it would take time to adjust but let’s not forget what an incredible actress she is, I don’t think anybody could’ve played Alice the way she does. I may just be on board with this idea.
Well, I suppose all we can do now is wait and see. I’m devastated to see Ruby Rose give up the role as she did such an amazing job! Can anyone really follow in her footsteps? Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long to find out!
