Zack Snyder had a vision for DC’s Justice League to come together in live-action on the big screen, with some unfortunate events in the middle of shooting the movie, Zack decided to step away and be with his family.
Then his true vision got ruined, dismantled, and completely changed, not only by Joss Whedon but also the studio, Warner Bros. After many petitions, many online crowds, probably hundreds of debates, the studio greenlit the go and here we are, less than 6 months away from seeing the true Justice League on screen.
I couldn’t be more excited, I absolutely love Zack Snyder, his films are always great and I’m looking forward to seeing each one of them unfold. I defended Justice League for as long as I could but after each time seeing the “Whedon Cut” my love for the movie died.
However, after many teases by Zack, Darkseid, Martian Manhunter, and more. We finally got a tease of the movie at DC FanDome and it was perfect. From the score to the scenes to the Darkseid appearance it was just great, I instantly fell in love with the Justice League again.
This is the version we were meant to have all along. Many characters were ruined and scenes were completely destroyed or forced into the cut we got.
I’m so ready to see the proper stories for characters such as The Flash, Iris West, and my personal favorite, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg. He was the most screwed over on the set.
He’s currently in a battle against Joss Whedon and the studio and I stand by Ray, Always will and Always have. He deserves to have the spotlight. His character was great even though he was ruined by Joss.
I can’t wait for Zack to show better storytelling for each character. I just know the people who hate the movie will end up loving this version of the movie.
As with any excitement, comes nerves and we only have one nervous issue and that is overcrowding. Are they trying too hard and putting too many extra unnecessary things into the movie to make it overcrowded?
I can not wait until we see a new trailer, It will be soon as well since the promotional stuff has finally started. The internet went wild when the trailer for the movie went live after the DC FanDome event, imagine what it will be like when the 4-hour movie drops?
