Why I’m Losing Interest in Black Widow

First off, this article isn’t anything to do with feminism, hating the character, or anything along those lines, if anything this is to show that I’m purely losing interest in the movie.

Secondly, I’ve wanted a Black Widow movie since Age of Ultron was released and have stated multiple times that there should have been a Black Widow/Hawkeye movie way before now.

When this movie got announced I was finally happy because we were getting a Black Widow movie and myself with many others thought it was what happened in Budapest since that’s been a major plot point and hasn’t been touched in the story.

So when castings and story plots got announced my interest went up quickly. After a few more additions to the movie, it was shaping up to be an amazing long-awaited movie.

The trailers and teasers we’ve had have all been amazing, Taskmaster is finally getting to shine in live-action and I couldn’t be happier. We’re finally getting to explore more of Black Widow and her life behind the Avengers.

But with the untimely Covid-19, movies got delayed, TV shows got shortened and the movie world got rocked upside down. Delay after delayed we’re finally getting Black Widow in 2021.

With each delay, my interest got lowered and with rumors of it going onto Disney+ as Mulan did, I said straight away it would be a great movie and could easily bring in a decent profit, as shown with Mulan even though it was a mess of a movie.

I still have hope this movie will be good and will fit perfectly into the MCU even though the movie should have happened way before now.
