Call of Duty’s latest crossover is with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and they have recently updated their game and added their skins to the game it’s a pretty big talking point over the past couple of days because Call of Duty has definitely made a wrong decision and this crossover seems to be a money grab.
So when it was first announced that all four turtles were coming to the game, many players theorized that the skins could be one bundle or 4 separate bundles with a separate small battle pass coming in around 6 days.
The bundles were released today as part of the update and we finally got to look at the bundles. This is where the problem lies within Call of Duty and this crossover. The entire set of turtles each costs 2400 cod points which is around $25.
Altogether if you want to buy the skins it would be around $100 to complete the turtle set and this is on top of the 1100 cod points that the battle pass could potentially be in around 6 days, not to mention if they bring Shredder back as in a previous Call of Duty he had his own bundle.
My personal issue is this is definitely a move from Call of Duty which is to make money. They know that people were excited for this crossover so releasing the turtles separately is a scummy move from Call of Duty.
They’ve done a previous bundle that had similar stuff within it. The bundle had four skins, an emote, and an execution, among other things. They could have done this again for the Turtles but never.
I think if they had of done 1 skin with variant skins for the other 3 turtles as well as giving the bundle each signature weapon as well as a TMNT blueprint for a weapon would have been the better choice. Each turtle could have had the same emote and execution as well as an emblem and calling card.
