Look, I’m going right out the gate here and saying it’s the most pathetic “vs battle” among fans that I have ever seen, from both sides. It’s pathetic, and if you actively engage in arguments with people on social media on either side, you’re pathetic.
IT’S. A. MOVIE!
That’s it. Why the hate? I seriously do not understand. Everybody has their own right to dislike a movie, or anything in this world. That’s the ability we as human beings have, the ability to like or dislike something. It would be a damn shit world if we all loved the same stuff, right?!
Some of the comments I have seen from both sides of the coin is ridiculous. It really is. You can jump on me all you want for saying this but it’s just got so ridiculously out of hand at this point.
Our job is to write up news, thoughts, and just general up to date information on anything to do with heroes, comics or in that realm of genre. Obviously we are excited for the Snyder Cut, so whenever we post anything to do with the movie it’s met with stupid comments. One recently called Zack, “Hack Snyder”. Just, get a grip.
Whilst I’m on the excited end of this spectrum, we can’t ignore the super hardcore fans of Zack, which is fine. We all have our idols and people we love, but when someone just geniunely comments they’re not looking forward to the movie, or have doubts it can live up to the hype it’s met with so much anger it doesn’t make sense.
This is the Justice League. It’s a longer, varied version than the one we got in 2017. Look, I’m not pointing this at people who are fans or aren’t fans of the movie. This is aimed at those who feel the need to personally attack people on the internet on either side. What ever happened to “be kind”?!
I get both sides of the argument, but maybe instead of attacking it how about we either give it a chance or just let it go. It’s only a movie after all. I came across plenty of people that didn’t like Endgame or had no interest in it, but they never went around personally attacking people online that did.
I understand it’s the world we live in today, but sometimes when you see crap like this online it’s difficult. It’s one of the reasons I don’t use Twitter much anymore, too many people hide behind their screens when insulting people and it’s just got to stop.
Watch the movie, or don’t watch it. I don’t really care. If you’re a fan, great, we’ll look forward to the movie. If you’re not, then cool man, I hope one day you’ll maybe give it a chance?
That’s all I have to say on the matter. It comes to something when in 2 weeks we’ve blocked more people on Twitter, and banned more people on Facebook than we have since 2018 when the network started. It’s really sad to see.
